David joined Maydencroft in February 2024 as Head of the Green Skills Training Academy.

He is an experienced teacher, school improvement adviser, leader, and qualified coach. He is passionate about the power of education to transform people’s lives and has successfully led a team of 30 advisers for a large school improvement company.

Following 30 years of experience working in various educational settings and various local and national projects, he is excited to meet the challenge of enhancing his skills and knowledge in the Green Skills Sector. In particular, realising our pledge to:

Deliver 30 new environmental courses, increasing employability and positively impacting the environment.
Give back 10,000 green skills to the rural economy, bridging the gap in expertise shortages.
Create 100 new jobs and allow many more people to establish careers in the green sector.
