Eleanor is currently studying for a master's degree in Education, Leadership and Management from Keele University and working at Maydencroft as an Assistant Ecologist.

Before working at Maydencroft, Eleanor completed a degree in Animal Conservation Science at the University of Cumbria, based at Ambleside campus in the Lake District.

While at university, Eleanor gained experience in UK-based and international research techniques and completed research projects in Canada and The Gambia. While living in Canada, Eleanor was employed as a warden intern. She completed research on Northern Resident Killer Whales, and in The Gambia, Eleanor completed research on sharks, rays and skates.
