New courses from July 2024

This five-day course has been designed for people considering a change of career, those interested in woodland management, or those seeking to build and diversify their skills in forestry.

The short, practical training courses will be paid for by a £700,000 allocation from the £750m Nature for Climate Fund and will help grow the forestry sector so that we have enough people with the right skills to plan, plant, and manage new woodlands.

As of June 2024, further funding has been made available to those on the training fund’s waiting list. If you had previously applied, you should hear directly. If not, contact enquiries@forestryandarbtrainingfund.co.uk

The fund for new applications will be open in Summer 2024.
