Cora Pfarre MSc MICFor

Head Forester

Cora completed her Master’s degree in Forest Science at the Technical University Dresden (Germany) in 2014. During her MSc studies, Cora worked at the Institute for Wildlife, Ecology and Game Management as tutor, where she continued to develop a keen interest in deer management.

Since arriving in the UK, Cora has shared her passion for forestry by bringing woodlands into management, delivering and implementing woodland management plans and developing ash die-back strategies across the UK. During her time with the Forestry Commission, Cora has developed an in-depth knowledge on forestry regulations, has taken a proactive approach into design and delivery of governmental grant schemes such as Woodland Improvement (WD2) and the England Woodland Creation Offer (EWCO), and provided advice on silviculture (Continuous Cover Forestry) and habitat management (rewilding) for a large portfolio of landowners.
